Posted by For the past 60 to 70 years, our community has relied on a strategy of trying to influence government officials through protests, complaints, speeches and voting loyally and exclusively in one party. By what I call our MLK Scorecard shows that we are in last place when it comes to median incomes and net worth.
The people who run this whole system control government officials by controlling money. They don’t care about political parties, which is why you see big companies and wealthy individuals pouring money into both parties. In order to push government officials to do what we want, we have to increase our incomes and net worth. Pick STEM careers and technical trades, not struggle jobs and useless majors.
