Let’s face it. The guys near Houston, TX, who made the Hennessy Venom GT – the beast that broke the production car speed record, smashing through the 270 mph speed barrier – know how to turn heads. But for the rest of you successful professionals who ball on a lesser budget (but still ball nonetheless), you might like what Mercedes is offering in the new 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT for $100 – 120k.

At 456 hp and 443 ft lbs of torque, the AMG GT is nothing to sneeze at. And if you upgrade to the AMG GT S version, you’re sure to blaze a trail that your fellow professionals can only dream to follow. As Robb Report puts it:

Both will use the same 4-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine and will hit top speeds near or above 190 mph. The GT S, however, will accelerate more quickly—reaching 60 mph from a standstill in 3.7 seconds, which pits it right up against the likes of the Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type V8S.
