If you’ve been bored in Dallas-Ft. Worth as the Summer of 2015 got underway some days ago, perhaps you haven’t been paying attention to this site! We keep bringing you all kinds of info about fun things to do across this sprawling and growing metroplex, but it’s up to you to get out there and make the most of your summer.
The Kings of the Mic Tour is set to smash the Gexa Pavilion near the State Fairgrounds this evening starting at 5pm. Our Events page has all the info you need, including a link to the Boom 94 web page dedicated to this event.
The Ladies of X’quisite have been doin’ a fun thing at the sultry and seductive Tonic Lounge on the 3rd Floor of the hotel at the nationally known Spa Castle in Carrollton. Tonight they’re doing a breast cancer awareness fundraiser, plus they are fine and curvy, so there are several reasons to show up! Tonic Lounge has a nice, picturesque patio with a nice view of the nightline. If you’ve been looking for a perfect excuse to check out Spa Castle with its modern, contemporary décor, Friday nights are now the place to be this summer. More info on Our Events page.
Winston’s is doing a Customer Appreciation Night tonight. FREE all night! Now that’s some customer service.
Grammy award winning DJ Spinderella is mixing the Ones and Twos at Hookahs and Hip Hop tonight at Skewers Hookah Lounge in Addison. It’s part of their Feel Good Fridays.
If you’ve never been to an upscale wine bar, then check out Times Ten Cellars Winery in Dallas tonight, featuring the happy hour summer exclusive “Maximum Exposure” with Big Daddie the DJ. If you’re the type to like to go somewhere at midnight, don’t do that with this happy hour as they start at 8pm and go till midnight. Advance ticket purchase is required so check out their flyer on our events page asap before going.
The OneVoice Community Outreach Choir has a concert at the Music in the Park Concert Series in Cedar Hill. Check the flyer on our page.

Saturday, June 27, is the Congo Street Musical finale, presented by the Black Academy of Arts and Letters. It’s at the Naomi Bruten Main Stage inside the Dallas Convention Center. 1pm-4pm.
At The People’s Last Stand is the long-awaited Summertime Day party. On the Ones and Twos is DJ Niro and DJ Phife. Free RSVP before 430pm Saturday at daypartyjune27th.eventbrite.com.
The Cellar in Irving is having a Day Social Mixer from 2pm – 6pm. It’s an All White Affair. They’ll have that patio action going with drink specials!. Sounds by DJ Twin Needlez.
Kliff Klub in the southern part of the Dallas area has a day time Line Dance and Social Mixer from noon till 5pm. All dance styles will be exhibited and showcasers are welcome.

Azure in Addison has a Free Car Wash presented by Men of Business Models, which is part of the Block party Sundays series. Free seafood. Ladies $5 all day. Not sure about guys since they didn’t mention it in their flyer so men are either free or they have to pay twice what the women have to pay. Might be good to call in advance to verify.
Konscious Konnect is hosting a swank network mixer at the nationally recognized Thrive Club in downtown Dallas. Rsvp before 10pm Sunday to get in free, otherwise, there’s a $10 cover charge. The mixer is at 7pm and the main event starts at 10pm.
Looks like the popular “That Life” Annual All White Sailing Party on Lake Lewisville might be sold. Double check with them at their event page for more info.
