Amazon is requesting a tax abatement from Dallas County for a new 500,000 square-foot distribution center it is considering building in South Dallas.The company, which already has distribution centers in Haslet and Coppell, is planning a facility at the northwest corner of Interstate 45 and Interstate 20 on J.J.
