
American Airlines will spend $2 billion on new seats, in-flight entertainment and new aircraft in 2015 and beyond.The announcement comes as Fort Worth-based American (Nasdaq: AAL) marks the one-year anniversary of the merger with US Airways that made it the world’s largest airline.The airline will take delivery of 112 new aircraft, install more lie-flat seats in first class and business class and install charging ports at every seat.
