Elaine Turner is President and Creative Director of Elaine Turner, a Texas-based accessible luxury lifestyle brand. Known for her classic silhouettes with feminine edge, the collection consists of handbags, shoes, accessories, and forthcoming, an apparel line.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Advertising, Elaine gained industry experience designing for a New York apparel brand. After meeting her husband, Jim Turner, Elaine quickly recognized the inspiration she drew from extensive traveling needed a creative outlet. The two co-founded Elaine Turner and launched the eponymous lifestyle brand in April 2000, starting with handbags. The goal was simple: use the language of design to create elegant, yet affordable, accessories that make women feel beautiful inside and out.
