BALCH SPRINGS (CBSDFW.COM) – Police in Balch Springs confirmed Thursday that councilwoman Wanda Adams was arrested and charged with Silent or Abuse Calls to 911 services.

When Adams spoke with CBS 11 News last week she said she had seen video and heard from businesses owners complaining about slow response times. She too says she asked police for help with the matter, but claims they were not speedy enough.
