While many of us wait for slavery reparations, the far more significant amount of wealth our community lost was due to widespread land theft across the U.S. This video does a good job reminding us that the real struggle for reparations needs to center around land theft, which is far more than stolen labor due to slavery. For instance, the land we lost in New York that became Central Park is estimated to be worth just under $40 trillion alone. The other land in this video is worth a whole lot of money as well.
